Crucial Conversation: Building Resilient and Happy Lawyers

Research dating back 25 years, recognizes lawyers as the unhappiest profession around. Unable to meaningfully change external drivers, like demanding clients, 24/7 access and competition for clients and jobs, we resignedly throw up our hands and accept chronic stress and unhappiness as the price of admission.

This session looked at risk factors unique to lawyers and identified signs of burn out. Attendees then broke into small groups, and had and opportunity to experience the power of different coping strategies.
