    Elke Rubach, Founder, Rubach Wealth

Elke Rubach was profoundly impacted by formative experiences and the hard work and perseverance of her mother.  Born in Mexico, Elke spoke Spanish and German as a child and then became fluent in English and French as well.  She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in law, the latter in Banking and Finance on scholarship at the London School of Economics.  As a lawyer, she worked with McCarthy Tetrault in London, UK and Toronto.  She founded Rubach Wealth in 2012.

As Elke says, “Regardless of how successful you are, there is a piece of financial planning you owe to someone else.  Should insurance be a part of it?  Maybe, or maybe not.  Either way, you are not actually the client.  Your spouse is, or your children are, or your foundation is, or your favourite causes are.”

Elke is a sought-after speaker on wealth management, estate planning and philanthropy.  She gives back with extensive board and volunteer commitments, including on the development committee of Ronald McDonald House and on the Advisory Council at SickKids Foundation.  She is the founder of Fashion Heals for SickKids, which has raised more than $250,000 for pediatric cancer care and research since 2014.

Joanna Baron, Founder, Love & Dividends

Joanna Baron studied classics and law at McGill University and St John's College. She was a Fox Scholar at Middle Temple, London UK, and clerked for the Justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Spending her young adult years studying humanities and law, Joanna came to a rude awakening as she approached her 30s that the entire world of investing, financial planning, and business was foreign to her-- and noticed a similar intimidation factor amongst the otherwise kick-ass professional women in her sphere.

As an answer to this and the related gender investment gap, Joanna founded Love & Dividends, a community that helps women to get smart about money through in-person and digital experiences.

    Anjali Pradhan, Founder, Dahlia Wealth

Anjali began her career in investment management working for big guys like PIMCO & Goldman Sachs, in London. She first was on the trade floor as an analyst where she helped portfolio managers manage money in both equities and fixed income. Later in a business development she guided institutional clients eg. pension funds & foundations on the happenings in the financial markets. She also helped them decide which financial product suited their needs & would help them reach their objectives.

Towards the end of her time in London, Anjali had a nagging feeling that she wanted more out of her career than to line her own pockets. She wanted the satisfaction of helping people. Recently Anjali embarked on the trip of a lifetime: founding a business designed to enable women to live life its fullest by becoming financially empowered. Through workshop and coaching that teach investment literacy, Anjali hopes to close what is known as the gender investment gap.

Anjali holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montréal and is a CFA charterholder.
