Women and Wellness: A candid conversation about mental health in the profession, the pandemic and beyond
The ongoing global COVID-pandemic continues to affect our day to day lives and has drastically altered the way the legal profession operates and how its professionals interact with one another. While many have settled into a “new normal” and adapted to the new virtual world, this transition has brought on a new host of challenges including zoom fatigue, blurred lines between work and home life and a disconnect between colleagues and mentors. Join Kara Hardin, mental health educator, clinician founder of Kara Hardin Mental Health Consulting, and Joanne Clarfield Schaefer, founder of JSchaefer Coaching, and moderator Yadesha Satheaswaran, associate at Stockwoods LLP, for a candid discussion about the unique challenges young lawyers are facing with fostering and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, both physical and mental, while the profession continues to navigate virtually.
