Creative Stress Management: Breathwork Workshop with Beth Mountford

Start your week off right! Join Young Women in Law on Sunday, March 26 at 5:30 pm for a 75-minute breathwork session with Beth Mountford. This is your time to relax your body, calm your mind, and connect with yourself on a deeper level. 

As a former lawyer, Beth understands the impact that chronic stress can have on our health and well-being. Three years ago, Beth experienced her first breathwork journey. For her, breathwork helped calm the mind and relax the body in a way that other mindfulness practices couldn’t. Beth also felt a deeper sense of self - self-connection, self-awareness, and self-compassion. Now, there’s nothing she enjoys more than creating warm, inviting spaces for people to come together and breathe.

Breathwork may help you to:

  • soothe and regulate your nervous system

  • relieve stress and anxiety

  • increase clarity and mental focus

  • improve sleep

  • assist with digestion and reducing inflammation

  • elevate your mood

  • experience a stronger connection to yourself; including, a deeper sense of self-trust and self-compassion

Notes:

  • be sure to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes 

  • drink lots of water beforehand so that you are hydrate

  • avoid eating a big meal within 2 hours of our start time (active breathing on a full stomach can feel uncomfortable!
