Taleen Ohanessian - Director of Events for YWL
Taleen Ohanessian is currently Partner, Legal Counsel at Hazelview Investments. In her role, Taleen is responsible for structuring new investment products, supporting the investment teams with asset and equity transactions and general corporate legal support across Hazelview’s different business lines. Prior to joining Hazelview, Taleen practiced law at a large Bay Street law firm in Toronto, where she acted for a wide variety of public and private issuers in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial law. In Taleen’s spare time, she can be found with friends, securing her title as favourite aunt or travelling!

Harriette Codrington - Partner, Fogler, Rubinoff LLP
Harriette is a partner at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP (foglers) in the business law group, with a focus in private company mergers and acquisitions, although her transactional practice extends to private equity offerings, corporate reorganizations and secured lending. Harriette works with clients across a variety of industries, ranging from start ups and emerging companies to multinational corporations, providing strategic advice and assistance with structure and organization, financing considerations, shareholder and partnership arrangements, and complex commercial agreements. Outside of the office, Harriette can be found learning the art of negotiation from her two year old, being walked by her cocker spaniel or shamelessly consuming YA fiction.
Tanya Pagliaroli - Partner, TAP Law
Tanya has over 20 years’ experience as a litigation lawyer. Before founding TAP Law in 2017, Tanya practiced for nine years at McCarthy Tétrault where she specialized in commercial litigation and professional liability. In 2011, Tanya joined Pape Barristers, a prominent Toronto litigation boutique, where her focus was civil and commercial litigation, administrative law and appeals. Tanya has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada, Benchmark Litigation and listed as a ranked lawyer in the Canadian Lexpert Directory. She is a passionate and fearless advocate who achieves excellent results for her clients, both in and out of the courtroom. Tanya graduated from the University of Toronto (with high distinction) in 1995. She received her LL.B from Osgoode Hall law school in 1998 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000.
Emily Y. Fan - Partner, Lerners LLP
Emily Fan is a litigator at Lerners LLP, and the Deputy Practice Group Leader of the Dispute Resolution and Advocacy Group. She maintains a diverse practice, with a focus on complex shareholders’ and business disputes, creditors’ remedies, and pre-litigation advisory work. She has represented clients in a broad array of industries, including in emerging technologies, automotive, health, telecommunications, professional services, and banking. Emily has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, Federal Court, and regulatory bodies. Prior to joining Lerners, she practiced at Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP.
Emily serves on the Commercial List Users’ Committee, and is on the board of the Making Way Project, which funds sailing programs for girls ages 8 to 17. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Emily holds Bachelor of Science and law degrees from the University of Toronto, and has been admitted to the Ontario Bar (2011) and New York Bar (2012). Emily is conversant in basic Cantonese and fluent in spoken Mandarin.
Jacqueline (Jack) Goslett - Partner, Aird & Berlis LLP
Jack provides clear, actionable guidance to her financial services clients, both lenders and borrowers. By drawing on her business background, Jack offers her clients pragmatic advice on how to best structure commercial loan transactions and how to evaluate and understand the associated legal and business risks. She builds relationships with her clients by being attentive, highly responsive and by providing candid advice. Jack acts as counsel for several domestic and foreign banks, venture capital/private equity funds and other institutional investors. She also acts for borrowers on a regular basis across a variety of industries.
As a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group and Venture Finance Group, Jack’s practice focuses on banking and corporate/commercial law, with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border lending transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, senior and subordinated/mezzanine financings, asset based lending and venture capital/private equity investments. She also has experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, share/asset purchase and sale transactions and corporate reorganizations.
Stacey Stevens - Partner, Thomson Rogers
Stacey Stevens is a senior Partner with Thomson Rogers. She has dedicated her legal career to working with people and their families who have been seriously injured in what has often been described as one of life’s most traumatic and life altering experiences.Stacey’s path to partnership is one that can only be described as unique; having left home at the age of 15.
